Workshops
Kaydee Puppets offers a variety of workshops for schools, scouts, group parties/picnics, as well as for adults, remotely or in-person. Have fun with puppets, learn to be a puppeteer, and discover how puppets can be a great teaching (and learning) tool in the classroom or library story time! Kaydee's Workshops in Puppetry can be geared either for teachers or for children, 1st grade and older.
Puppet Manipulation for Children This is a 60-minute, fast-paced demonstration of the tricks and techniques of making puppets come alive. Lots of audience participation. Everyone gets the opportunity to go behind stage and act! Students learn how to work the puppets, improvise, and use humor to entertain their fellow students. Cost is $225 for up to 20 students. Additional students are $10 each. Puppets, props and stage are provided for the workshop. Puppets Add Punch for Adults This is a delightful two-hour workshop designed for teachers and librarians. Explore the many facets of puppetry. Puppets can enrich any type of learning experience. Provides practical ideas, immediate application, live demos with lots of hands-on practice with simple puppets participants can make and take home. Cost is $450 for up to 25 educators. Additional participants are $10 each. Materials supplied as needed. Continuing education credit certificates are provided. Zoom Workshops All workshops can be done remotely via Zoom. Teachers can still get all of the continuing education credits. We mail all teacher materials needed prior to the workshop. |
